Youth Crisis Medical Technician - Residential Center for Healing & Resilience

Successful candidates will have a once-in-a-career opportunity to be a part of the opening of our new Residential Center for Healing and Resilience, a 64-bed psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF) for youth, at our beautiful 258-acre Hands of Promise Campus in Idahos Treasure Valley.

Medical Technician Responsibilities:

• Administer medication as ordered by a physician
• Take and record vital signs of youth
• Record the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately
• Report and record any changes in condition

Must Haves:

• Must be 21 years of age
• Must possess High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid Idaho drivers license or obtain one within 15 days of hire
• Must hold state required medication pass certification or other required certification, complete state required delegation and/or training requirements, and successfully complete the medication pass competency
• Obtain specialized training related to position, such as: CPR, First Aid, Crisis Intervention, Individualized Behavioral Contingencies, Crisis & Suicide Management and Med Management
• Knowledge of computer and EHR systems

Preferred:

• One year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting

This position is relief, and will be on-call only after training.
