About the role

The Youth Crisis Center- Medical Technician position at Clarvida is integral to the integrated treatment provided at the Clarvida Youth Support Center. This role focuses on providing direct medical and programmatic nursing care to youth experiencing behavioral health crises.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the admission process to assess and determine continued eligibility for medical services.
• Develop and implement a goal-directed plan of care for any minor medical issues faced by clients.
• Provide direct oversight to personnel providing medical care to clients during behavioral health crises.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to utilize crisis intervention skills for de-escalation, treatment, and stabilization of behavioral health needs.

Requirements

• Licensed in Idaho as EMS/EMT, LPN, or RN.
• Pass background checks, including Enhanced Fingerprinting with ID DHW.
