About the role

The Youth Crisis Center- Medical Technician position at Clarvida focuses on providing direct medical and programmatic nursing care to youth experiencing behavioral health crises. This role involves participating in the client's healthcare education and overseeing medical care provided to clients during a behavioral health crisis. The position requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to manage crisis intervention and stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Determine continued eligibility and develop a goal-directed plan of care for minor medical issues during the admission process.
• Provide direct oversight to personnel providing medical care to clients experiencing a behavioral health crisis.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement crisis intervention skills to de-escalate, treat, and stabilize behavioral health needs.

Requirements

• Licensed in Idaho as EMS/EMT, LPN, or RN.
• Pass background checks, including Enhanced Fingerprinting with ID DHW.
