Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively speaking and in writing
• Communicate with juveniles and staff in a manner that promotes positive interactions
• Maintain a secure environment, routinely monitor and observe juveniles
• Maintain compliance with cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Document safety violations and security breaches
• Complete activity briefings for shift personnel
• Provide feedback to the treatment team on juveniles
• Monitor juveniles, provide direct supervision and engagement at a Youth Development Center or Juvenile Detention Center

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 20 years of age
• Ability to communicate effectively speaking and in writing
• Ability to communicate with juveniles and staff in a manner that promotes positive interactions
• Ability to maintain a secure environment, routinely monitor and observe juveniles
• Ability to maintain compliance with cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Ability to document safety violations and security breaches
• Ability to complete activity briefings for shift personnel
• Ability to provide feedback to the treatment team on juveniles
• Ability to monitor juveniles, provide direct supervision and engagement at a Youth Development Center or Juvenile Detention Center

Qualifications

• Total months of related education and experience above the minimum requirements (Associate's degree or total of 24 months or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Pay

Initial salary is based on total months of related education and experience above the minimum requirements (Associate's degree or total of 24 months or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Schedule

This is a full-time position. Day shifts are 7AM to 7PM with rotating every other weekend off. Night shifts are 7PM to 7AM rotating every other weekend off.
