About the role

KidStrong Vestavia Hills is looking for amazing coaches to join their rapidly growing team. They offer a science-based fitness program for kids ages 1-11 that builds confidence, character, and family connection through fun, age-appropriate fitness games.

Responsibilities

• Engage with parents and kids in a fun, energetic, and professional environment
• Mentor and coach children to make an impact on their lives
• Talk to and educate parents on the KidStrong curriculum
• Incorporate movement and fun into the learning process to empower kids
• Teach parents how to make their children smarter, stronger, and more confident
• Work with an amazing team passionate about making a difference
• Coach and mentor children in weekly 45-minute classes

Requirements

• Passion for working with kids is non-negotiable
• Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age range is preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
• CPR certified
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter that just gets a job done

Pay

$18.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule

• Weekdays: 9-11 am and evenings 4pm until 8 pm
• Weekends: Start at 9 AM and run through lunchtime
• Opportunity to increase scheduled hours through birthday party and camp coaching hours
