About the role

KidStrong Vestavia Hills is looking for talented, enthusiastic professionals who are passionate, energetic, and excited to engage with parents and kids and make an impact on their lives. They are rapidly growing and are currently hiring for the following positions.

Responsibilities

• Coach children in age-appropriate, fun, and challenging science-based fitness games.
• Mentor children to improve their emotional, mental, and physical skills.
• Teach parents how to make their children smarter, stronger, and more confident using KidStrong's curriculum.
• Engage with parents and kids during weekly 45-minute classes.
• Work flexible hours, including weekdays 9-11 am and evenings 4pm until 8 pm, and weekends starting at 9 AM and running through lunchtime.
• Have additional opportunities to increase scheduled hours through birthday party and camp coaching.

Requirements

• Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age range is preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
• CPR certified.
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-starter who just gets the job done.
