Tomorrow’s Children Inc., a nonprofit Residential Treatment Facility, is seeking compassionate and driven Youth Care Workers to join our dedicated team. We provide therapeutic care for children with emotional and behavioral challenges in a nurturing, home-like environment. Our mission is to teach essential life skills, foster healthy social development, and support positive behavioral growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and engage with 6–7 children in a structured, supportive setting
  • Promote daily living skills, appropriate behavior, and social development
  • Prepare meals, maintain a clean and safe environment, and perform minor household maintenance
  • Lead and support behavioral programming tailored to individual needs
  • Accurately document observations and update records
  • Assist with academic programming and fulfill teacher’s aide licensing requirements
  • Participate in recreational and sports activities
  • Provide emergency shift coverage as needed

Schedule Options

  • Full-Time: Varied shifts including mornings (7am–3pm), evenings (3pm–11pm), and 2–4 overnight shifts (11pm–7am) per month, includes weekends and holidays, with one weekend off per schedule period
  • Part-Time: Three 8-hour shifts per week, including one weekend shift, rotating shifts: 7am–3pm, 3pm–11pm, or 11pm–7am

Tomorrow’s Children Inc., a Residential Treatment Center located in Waupaca, WI. Our mission is to provide a structured, safe environment that offers stability and security for children and families while providing trauma informed therapeutic approaches to teach resiliency. We treat children with behavioral and emotional issues that require intensive care.

Program Highlights:

  • One of the most unique aspects of our program is the ability to design an individual treatment plan to fit each child's specific needs.
  • Tomorrow's Children focuses on enhancing positive change with the intent of returning the child to their family/community as soon as possible.
  • Individual/group counseling is integrated into a child's treatment plan as appropriate to better facilitate and learn the process of internal control and coping with past issues in positive ways.
  • Family/caretaker involvement through family training/counseling.
  • Home-like environment utilizing ranch style homes.
  • Team approach with a high staff to child ratio.
  • Utilization of small group care and instruction to maximize each child's potential and involvement in the program.
  • Unique, comprehensive on-grounds educational program.
