Youth Care Worker Description
One Hope United's residential care program provides a range of quality services to adolescents in foster care. Youth entering the program are traumatized and sometimes in crisis. As a Youth Care Worker, you provide supervision, training, and skill-building for the youth through individual and group instruction. Your responsibilities include teaching daily living, recreational activities, socialization, and independent living skills. You also assist in achieving the goals outlined in the youth's Individual Treatment Plans and the OHU Residential Program Plans. Additionally, you are trained in the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) behavior modification program.

After five years, you may earn a Mental Health Professional certification and a role with increased responsibility and pay. What We Will Expect of You
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience: 1-3 years of human services experience preferred
- Licenses & Certifications: Required Auto Insurance, Drivers License, Physical Exam/TB A

Pay Range
$20.40 per hour
