Youth Behavior Response Specialist
Position Overview
Serve as a Behavior Response Team Lead supporting youth during behavioral challenges
Assist with skill acquisition for clients and staff using approved strategies and techniques (WELLE-based)
Implement behavior reduction protocols to address challenging behaviors and encourage appropriate alternatives
Provide direct intervention support to youth
Build strong, positive relationships with clients and families
Collaborate with caregivers, clinicians, and interdisciplinary team members
Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive environment
Follow all ethical guidelines, confidentiality standards, and agency policies
Participate in required training and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities

- Experience working with youth in behavioral health, mental health, education, or human services
- Knowledge of trauma informed care and pain-based behavior
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations
- Commitment to client confidentiality and ethical practice
- Willingness to complete training and follow behavior intervention plans
Benefits
Starting at $17.00 per hour, with the opportunity to increase earnings to $20.00 per hour within your first year based on productivity, client engagement, and performance milestones.

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
