About the Role
Yorkshire of Edina, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking a Director of Health Services (DHS) to join our growing team. Located in Edina, off a bus route, between Southdale Mall and the YMCA, we help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 96-unit, apartment-style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. Yorkshire of Edina provides a growing leadership team and staff.

Director of Health Services, Registered Nurse
- Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on experience
- Service Area: 7141 York Avenue South, Edina, MN 55435
- Schedule: 1.0 FTE, Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. MOD rotation and paid holidays.

Position Duties & Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the nursing staff for the provision of quality and appropriate resident care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.
- Scheduling and/or performing rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
- Maintaining administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for the proper charting and documentation of care, medications, and treatments.
- Aiding in hiring nursing staff, overseeing the provision of orientation and training, and retaining qualified staff to carry out nursing and assisted living programs and services.
- Aiding in developing and implementing the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects the needs of the resident population.
- Collaborating with the Executive Director to build relationships with internal and external prospects, customers, families, and care providers.
- Evaluating current and potential residents to determine and maintain facility's ability to provide the appropriate level of care.
- Managing clinical aspects of state or federal government survey processes.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- A minimum of two years' management or supervisory experience in long-term or acute care is preferred.
- Restorative or geriatric nursing experience is preferred.
- Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
- Must possess advanced computer skills.
