About the role

Schedule
- 9.5 months per year (school calendar)
- 5 days per week (Monday–Friday)
- 3.5 hours per day (8:40 a.m.–12:10 p.m.)
- 204 paid days / 1001 work calendar (see www.pylusd.org)
Pay
Hourly pay range: $23.11 – $28.17 (Range 22)
Requirements
- Open to PYLUSD permanent employees, substitutes, and external applicants
- Must provide at least two references on your application
- Must meet one of the following:
- Completion of 48 units of college coursework, or
- AA degree or higher, or
- Passage of Instructional Aide Test (ESSA)
- Copy of transcript (degree or unofficial showing ≥48 units) or ESSA test results required before applying
- Current résumé required
- Selected candidates must complete a DOJ/FBI LiveScan background check
