About the role
Special Education Assistant position at Yorba Linda High School, supporting students with disabilities in an educational setting.
Pay
Pay range: $23.11 - $28.17 per hour (Range 22).
Schedule
- 9.5 months per year (school year calendar)
- 5 days per week (Monday-Friday)
- 3.75 hours per day (11:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.)
- 204 paid days / 1001 work calendar (available at www.pylusd.org)
Employment type: Part-time.
Requirements
- Open to PYLUSD permanent employees, substitutes, and external applicants.
- Interviews will begin with permanent applicants qualified for an interview.
- At least two references must be provided on your application.
- Must meet one of the following:
- Completion of 48 units of college coursework,
- AA degree or higher, or
- Passage of Instructional Aide Testing (ESSA).
- Copy of transcript (degree or unofficial transcript showing completion of 48 college units) or proof of passing the Instructional Aide Test (ESSA) required.
- Current resume required.
- Selected candidates must complete a DOJ/FBI LiveScan background check.
