About the role

Assist special education teachers in providing targeted intervention to students with disabilities.

Schedule

• 9.5-month work year (school calendar)
• 5 days per week, Monday – Friday
• 3.5 hours per day: 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• 204 paid days / 1001-hour work calendar

Pay

Hourly rate: $24.30 – $29.62 (Range 24).

Requirements

• Must meet one of the following:
• Completion of 48 semester units of college coursework, or
• Associate degree or higher, or
• Passage of the Instructional Aide Test (ESSA)
• Copy of transcript (official or unofficial) showing at least 48 units, or proof of ESSA passage
• Current résumé
• At least two professional references provided on the application

Testing

ESSA testing is available through Human Resources and must be completed before applying. Testing is held on Tuesdays by appointment only.
