About the Role

Special Education (SPED) Intervention Assistant position at Yorba Linda Middle School. This is a part-time role supporting students with special needs.

Schedule

• 9.5 months per year (school calendar)
• 5 days per week
• 3.75 hours per day
• Shift hours:
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 11:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 10:45 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
• 204 paid days per work calendar (1001 hours)

Pay

Hourly rate: $24.30 - $29.62 (Range 24)

Requirements

• Must meet one of the following:
  • Completion of 48 units of college coursework
  • AA degree or higher
  • Passage of Instructional Aide Testing (ESSA)
• Copy of transcript (degree or unofficial transcript showing 48+ units) or ESSA test results required before applying
• Current resume
• At least two references must be provided on the application

Testing

Instructional Aide Test (ESSA) required. Testing available through Human Resources by appointment on Tuesdays.
