About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Aquatics Director to lead our indoor pool operations and develop engaging aquatic programs at the Powdersville YMCA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all pool operations, including lifeguard staffing, scheduling, and compliance
• Ensure high standards of safety, cleanliness, and staff development
• Be a visible leader who inspires confidence in staff, parents, and community partners

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• One to two years of related experience preferred
• Certifications needed: CPR, First Aid and Lifeguarding (American Red Cross)
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community
