About the role
The Aquatics Coordinator (Full-Time), Speer Branch YMCA is responsible for overseeing all aquatic programs and facilities at the Speer Branch YMCA. This role involves managing swim lessons, water safety courses, and ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of pools and related equipment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aquatic programs and facilities at the Speer Branch YMCA
- Manage swim lessons and water safety courses
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of pools and related equipment
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall facility usage
- Develop and implement aquatic programming strategies to meet community needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Physical Education, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in aquatic program management
- Valid lifeguard certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with budgeting and financial management
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule
