YCTH Behavioral Technician II

About the Role

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a passionate Behavior Technician II to work with individuals living with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and mental health challenges residing in the Youth Crisis Therapeutic Home (YCTH) located in Culpeper, VA. Your days will be spent equipping individuals with the tools, coping skills and support to prevent hospitalization and crisis.

Schedule

Full-time schedule available on the following shifts:

• Sunday/Monday 7am-7pm
• Tuesday/Wednesday 7am-3pm
• Wednesday/Thursday 3pm-11pm
• Friday/Saturday 7pm-7am
• Sunday/Monday 7pm-7am
• Tuesday/Thursday 11pm-7am

Responsibilities

• Facilitating daily programs and rehabilitative activities
• Providing therapeutic interventions
• Assisting with personal care
• Working closely with participants' primary care providers, community crisis services, and families to ensure comprehensive support for those referred to the home

Qualifications

• Experience working with IDD/Behavioral Health (BH) disorders required
• Bachelor's degree in Human Service field of study, or QMHP (trainee), or the ability to register as a Qualified Mental Health Professional Trainee and be approved within 30 days of hire
• Maintain valid state appropriate driver's license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work

Compensation

• Competitive Rate: $21 – $24 / hr based on experience
• $2,000 sign-on and retention bonus for full-time new hires, paid at 3, 6, and 12 months
• Additional yearly stipends provided as grant funding permits
