Behavior Technician

Responsibilities/Accountabilities

• Works 1-1 with a child in performing ABA therapy, following the guidance in the behavior treatment plan and under the direction of a supervising clinician.
• Ensures all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and the documentation accurately supports the services rendered.
• Updates working availability in the EMR platform.
• Documents services performed in an accurate and complete fashion.
• Completes all assigned company training and submits proof and/or documentation as needed to maintain credentialing with payers.
• Communicates regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor as it relates to assigned client(s).
• Ensures communication is conducted in a manner which is aligned to HIPAA standards.
• Arrives on-time to scheduled services and notifies supervisor(s) of any client changes to preference or schedule.
• Notifies leadership of any compliance issues.
• Performs other related duties as required.
