Yardman

About the role

The Yardman will facilitate crews by loading and delivering materials, supplies, plants, and equipment. They will also maintain inventory of bulk goods and supplies in the yard, assist with plant pick-up and delivery, keep the yard and facility orderly, and assist in maintaining and scheduling repairs of equipment. Production assistance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate crew activities by loading and delivering materials, supplies, plants, and equipment.
• Maintain inventory of bulk goods and supplies in the yard.
• Aid in the nursery with pick-up and delivery of plants.
• Keep the yard and facility orderly and identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in maintaining and scheduling repairs of equipment.
• Assist in production as needed.

Requirements

• Class A CDL, or willingness to obtain one.
• Snow and Ice Removal and Management.
• Client Communication.
• Subcontractor Collaboration.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Additional a plus!)

Pay

Hours: 45-50 hours per week in peak season Monday through Friday, some Saturdays.
