About the role
Operate production equipment and perform tasks associated with production in our Powertrain and Charging division. Many operations involve grinding, turning, boring, lathe, CNC, or plating applications with metals. This role is based in St. Johns, Michigan, and offers opportunities for growth with a strong promote-from-within culture.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Safely and efficiently operate all machinery.
- Ensure the quality of your own work and machine setups.
- Read and follow all process documentation and operator instructions.
- Work near moving equipment with strong mechanical abilities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Available to work any shift and overtime as needed.
- Able to stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, and controls.
- Able to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Pay
Starting wages between $21.33 - $22.52 per hour. After a 12-month growth period, top wages range from $23.49 - $24.78 per hour.
