Yard Technician (Sanitation/Containers)
About the role
At EquipmentShare, we’re hiring a Yard Technician at our rental facility in Lebanon, IN. The role is responsible for maintaining the storage yard, assisting with equipment management, and supporting the overall operations of the facility.
Primary Responsibilities
- Inspect and report equipment condition before and after usage
- Document incoming and outgoing equipment
- Aid with routine inspections, repairs, maintenance, and equipment cleaning
- Maintain equipment inventory systems according to standard operating procedures
- Serve as a responsible party for general yard and shop cleanup in accordance with company standards
- Maintain a safe and hazard-free workplace
- Serve as an advocate for EquipmentShare’s culture and uphold our high standards of customer experience
- Assist with various other duties as assigned by the General Manager

- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential for overtime pay after 40 hours

Qualifications
- Safety training required and PPE required when applicable
- Occasional lifting may be required, up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license
- Maintenance background is a plus (Welding, Painting, Plumbing, and general repairs)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to be outside during extreme temperatures
- Must be able to stand, sit, bend and stoop
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen
- Must be at least 18 years old to be in EquipmentShare yard

- Required skills: Safety training, PPE, occasional lifting, valid driver’s license, maintenance background (Welding, Painting, Plumbing, and general repairs), high school diploma or equivalent
