Yard Spotter and Material Handler

About the role

DragonXpress is seeking a reliable Second Shift Spotter / Material Handler to support warehouse operations at the ND Packaging facility. This role involves moving trailers within the yard as needed while assisting with warehouse material handling to ensure efficient daily operations. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and independent work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety as a core value and actively lead safe execution of work.
• Spot and move trailers safely throughout the yard.
• Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
• Operate a forklift to transport materials and products.
• Perform pre‑trip inspections before moving trailers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Work closely with warehouse and shipping teams to support production.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL (required).
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Safe driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$29 per hour, full‑time W‑2 position.

Schedule

Second Shift – Monday through Friday, 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM (8‑hour shifts).
