Yard Jockey

Responsibilities

• Load straps, racks, and shippers onto trucks during the loading process
• Assist with pallet building and unloading of trucks to maintain organization of pallets and shells
• Ensure hand trucks and tow motors are charged and stored in their respective places for drivers
• Ensure all DSD routes have a fully charged mule on trailer prior to leaving the dock
• Maintain general cleanliness of the warehouse and yard
• Assist with replenishment of product in the warehouse
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• 0 to 1+ years of specific driving experience
• Class A CDL Permit to Class A CDL license
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
