Yard Jockey

Schedule

• 2nd Shift from 4:00 pm to 4:00 am
• Off days: Wed/Thurs/Sun

Job Functions

• Operate yard truck to move equipment around facility
• Pre-cool trailers according to the guidelines set forth in the Domestic Transportation Manual
• Perform periodic yard checks to ensure loads are always maintained at proper temperatures
• Maintain a good driving record and comply with all Department of Transportation standards and regulations
• Report any vehicle problems and defects to the Supervisor for immediate attention
• Fill out all necessary paperwork to perform job duties. (Trailer Inspection Report)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Excellent driving record
• Must pass drug test and background check
• Prioritize over the road experience
• Driving experience within the city
• CDL A Required
