Yard Jockey-2

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Aid in truck loading and unloading. Maintain personal protective equipment and comply with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and applicable laws.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

• Spot trucks in loading docks
• Work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers
• Perform all assigned tasks by management
• Work additional duties as directed

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Self-motivated, able to work unsupervised
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
• Sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character
• Forklift certification required
• DOT certification required

Safety Requirements

• Follow department and company safety policies and programs
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Work in a wet and cold environment (45°F, 4°C)
• Stand for an 8-hour shift
• Exposed to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production
