About the Role
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, this full-time Yard Hand position supports the service team. You’ll work in Fairbanks at our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility featuring spacious bays, great lighting, and up-to-date technology. The equipment shop is located right next door, and a coffee shop is nearby for quick breaks.

Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with customers
- Consult with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to equipment
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipments
- Move equipment and materials in and out of the shop
- Keep yard, shop, and parts inventory clean and organized
- Complete local parts runs and deliveries
- Assist with rental equipment
- Pressure washing
- General maintenance activities including snow removal, sanding, and cleaning as needed
- Trailer and truck washes
- Assist with inventory control
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Great communication and time management skills
- 2 or more years of sales experience
- Able to work 40+ hours per week
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Physical Requirements
The physical demands include lifting at least 40 pounds regularly, standing for long periods, bending, lifting, and pushing.
Safety
Safety is a priority. Team members must follow all safety policies and standards, complete onboarding safety requirements, and participate in monthly safety training to maintain a safe work environment.

Pay
$18.00–$21.50 per hour
