Yard Driver (CDL) - 3rd Shift -Starting at $25 Hourly

Job Summary

This position is responsible for safely operating a yard switcher to move trailers to and from loading docks and designated yard locations. Class A CDL license required. 3rd Shift hours: 8:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., with availability to work overtime as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Use an 18‑wheeler cab to move dressed axle front & rear products.
• Read and understand the schedule and move trucks to satisfy customer delivery requirements.
• Follow all site safety rules and safe operating practices.
• Adhere to work instructions and complete all quality checks as defined in the control plans.
• Report all accidents and near‑miss incidents immediately.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping at all times.
• Perform minor maintenance and material handling of front and rear axles as needed.
• Be an effective team member and assist other operators when needed.
• Assist material flow by performing multiple functions per day as required.
• Work required overtime as scheduled.
• Train new employees when assigned.
• Operate pneumatic tools, hoists, and other equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license.
• At least six months of truck driving experience.
• Experience moving front and rear axles and brake components.
• Ability to use overhead hoist, lift truck, and air tools for set‑ups.
• Forklift experience required.
• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Ability to stand constantly and perform bending, stooping, and lifting.
• Sound judgment in reacting to process‑related problems.
