Yard Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Perform trailer switches, moving trailers in and out of dock doors and positioning them in designated yard locations.
• Transport trailers between off-site locations as needed.
• Conduct daily inspections of yard equipment and report any defects to ensure equipment is maintained safely and properly.
• Maintain safe operating practices while driving and handling yard equipment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties based on distribution center needs, which may include: loading/unloading trailers, operating forklift type equipment and supporting other operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Class A CDL required and must be DOT qualified.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.
• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.

About the Role

We are seeking a DOT Yard Driver (CDL Class A) to join our team at our new distribution center in Litchfield Park, Arizona. This role is essential to keeping our warehouse operations running smoothly by ensuring trailers are safely and efficiently moved throughout the yard and between nearby locations.
