Yard Driver

About the role

Yard Driver responsible for safely and efficiently transporting trailers within the facility's external yard area.

Responsibilities

• Moving trailers to and from docks and securing them properly.
• Dropping trailers into designated yard locations.
• Assisting with daily trailer inventory.
• Responding promptly and safely to warehouse calls.
• Adhering to all safety, work rules, policies, and standards.

Requirements

• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least six months of experience driving semi-trailers, via work or training.

Pay

Starting pay of $20.50/hour plus $1.50 night shift differential. Double-time pay on Sundays, providing extra earnings for 12 hours of work.
