Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing/assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
• High attention to detail.
• Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming and/or CAD/CAM.
• Good communication abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Keep track of tool usage and request new tools.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, or other machinery to transport material to machines.
• Supervise machines during execution of tasks and make necessary adjustments.
• Inspect and measure finished products against requirements to ensure proper completion.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand, walk, bend, climb, stoop, twist, crouch, kneel, and inspect components for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry tools and materials as needed.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Must be able to communicate and follow instructions effectively.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Ensure safety is always practiced.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including wearing PPE (safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots with metatarsal guards).
• Able to arrive on time or early for work.
