Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Run specific extrusion equipment and the associated cell machinery.
• Keep the equipment supplied with extrusion feedstock and monitor the operation of all cell equipment.
• Ensure that the extruded product meets all appropriate quality specifications.
• Work with the Production Mechanics and manufacturing management to solve any issues with machinery and products.
• Supply feedstock to the extrusion equipment and ensure that a steady supply of material is available.
• Complete appropriate paperwork for each lot of production before it leaves the extrusion area.
• Accurately report daily extrusion totals for all designated lines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Requirements

• Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Having prior industrial experience is a plus.
• Be willing to learn all equipment specific to the plant operations.
• Have a strong commitment to safety and work well in a team environment.

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 5:30 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Friday
