Location: Arlington, TN • 1st Shift • Starting pay: $22.00/hour – higher depending on experience
About the role
We are looking for a dependable Yard Crane & Material Handling Operator to support outdoor yard operations. This role involves moving structural steel, loading and unloading trailers, and operating various material-handling equipment.
Responsibilities
- Move and position trailers throughout the yard
- Operate Pettibone equipment to transport steel materials
- Load and unload trailers
- Operate overhead cranes to safely move structural steel
- Assist with general outdoor yard and material-handling activities
- Maintain reliable attendance and follow safe work practices
Requirements
- Experience operating cranes and material-handling equipment preferred; training may be provided to the right candidate
- Experience loading structural steel using an overhead crane required
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to safely handle steel and other materials in a busy yard environment
We are open to candidates with experience operating some or all of the equipment listed and may provide training for the right person.
Pay
$22.00/hour – higher depending on experience
