Yard Material Handler, Construction

What You'll Do

• Material handling tasks: receiving, stocking, picking, tracking, and delivery
• Perform material counts and yard checks
• Collaborate with Construction Trades teams
• Uphold Construction Trades Team best practices
• Execute assigned tasks within specified timeframes
• Engage in physical work, including pushing, pulling, gripping, and reaching
• Accurately deliver vendor deliveries, inspect vehicles and equipment, and complete documentation promptly
• Use a sit-down forklift for tasks like unloading, moving, replenishing, stacking, and storing trades materials

What You'll Bring

• Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods of time and ability to reach at different heights (4-5 ft.) repetitively
• Endure and safely operate in extreme weather and climate conditions (outdoor work)
• Current forklift certification (strongly preferred)
• Valid driver's license (required)
• Experience using a sit-down forklift, preferably within the last year
