Yard Coordinator

About the role

Yancey Bros. Co., established in 1914, serves as the authorized Caterpillar equipment dealer for Georgia, focusing on providing high-quality sales, parts, and service to its customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment for loading and unloading new, used, and customer equipment
• Log all incoming and exiting trucks in the yard
• Complete all receiving and transferring of attachments and perform monthly inventory checks
• Maintain outside facilities by organizing machines on the yard and cutting with a mower
• Perform pre/post inspections on machines and clean, fuel, and maintain them
• Deliver parts to customers and other branch locations
• Participate in required safety programs and work safely
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude
• Organized work style
• Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment
• Basic computer skills (email, internet, basic data entry)
• Clean driving record
• Safety-conscious

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
