Yard Associate - Tulsa, OK

About the role

Join Master Halco: Fence & Deck Supply, North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fence and deck products, as a Yard Associate at one of our branch offices. This position performs a variety of functions, including preparing orders for accurate product pulling, operating a forklift for loading/unloading trailers (70% of daily tasks), and manually sorting and staging material in the yard (30% of daily tasks). The role involves maintaining yard stock in a clean and organized manner.

Responsibilities

• Work inside the warehouse and outside in the yard.
• Accurately load trucks for outgoing shipments.
• Receive and put away inbound materials.
• Complete work orders and receiving documents accurately.
• Pull and prepare orders, packaging for shipment.
• Rotate yard stock and safely move materials using a forklift.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure branch success and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in a warehouse/yard position.
• Able to lift/move heavy materials (up to 60 lbs) on occasion.
• Forklift experience (sit-down) highly desired.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Experience with building materials is a plus.
