Yard Associate

Job Description Summary

The Yard Associate at Sunbelt Rentals is responsible for:

• Stationing and retrieving equipment on the location's property.
• Maintaining a written maintenance schedule.
• Servicing equipment as necessary to ensure it meets all set specifications.
• Inspecting equipment before and after rental to document any lost or damaged items.

Education or Experience

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools is preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math skills, communication, and working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite are essential.
• General mechanical aptitude and a safety focus are important.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.

Physical Demands

• The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Indoor and outdoor work may be required based on the job.

Base Pay Range

The starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. The base pay range is $17.75 - $22.55 per hour.
