Yard Associate

Job Description Summary

The Yard Associate at Sunbelt Rentals is responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment on the location's property. They maintain a written maintenance schedule and may service equipment as necessary to ensure it meets all set specifications. Additionally, they inspect equipment prior to and after rental to document any lost or damaged items.

Education or Experience

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools is preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math skills, communication abilities, and working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite are required.
• A general mechanical aptitude and safety focus are essential.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.

Physical Demands

• The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working both indoors and outdoors.

Base Pay Range

The base pay range for this position is $17.75 - $23.72 per hour. The starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
