Yard Assistant

Responsibilities

• Aid all customers with propane sales, including loading and unloading tanks from cars.
• Handle all sales transactions of mulch and propane for drive-in customers according to company policy.
• Reconcile sales at the end of each day with an appropriate administrative assistant.
• Keep both yards clean, which includes garbage, garbage cans, leaves, debris, and vehicles blocking the right of way.
• Learn to safely operate basic construction equipment such as front-end loaders and grinders.
• Assist mechanics by loading customers with mulch and assisting in grinding wood when necessary.
• Wash trucks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old to operate propane.
• Customer-oriented and excellent communication skills.
• A willingness to learn new skills.
• Reliable and responsible.
• Valid Driver's License required.
