Job Summary

Certified Languages International (CLI) seeks telephonic interpreters to work from home. This position involves providing interpreting services for a variety of industries including medical, insurance, financial, utility companies, customer service, and state courts. Services are needed 24/7 and can be provided through an online portal or landline telephone.

About the Role

The role requires proficiency in multiple languages and the ability to communicate effectively over the phone. CLI provides interpreting services for a diverse client base and interpreters are paid per minute worked.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpreting services for various industries including medical, insurance, financial, utility companies, customer service, and state courts.
• Interpret over the phone for 24/7 services using CLI's online portal or landline telephone.
• Communicate effectively and accurately during interpreting sessions.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid Social Security Number (SSN) or Employer Identification Number (EIN).
• Must provide a form of photo identification.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in multiple languages.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Benefits

No benefits are offered as this is a freelance independent contractor position.

Pay

Payment is on a per-minute basis and interpreters are paid for every minute spent on the phone interpreting. Payments are issued twice a month, on the 15th and last day of the month, via direct deposit.

Schedule

This is a flexible, work-from-home position where interpreters set their own schedules based on client needs.
