Xray Technologist

About the Role

Under the administrative direction of the Director/Operations Supervisor and the clinical direction of the Radiologist/Team Leader, you will independently perform the majority of exams with minimal supervision. You will assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. The position requires flexibility to cross-train in other Diagnostic Imaging modalities based on departmental staffing needs.

Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of formal Medical Radiography training in an AMA-approved school.
• Meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Employees cross-trained in multiple Diagnostic Imaging modalities must maintain competencies in each area, including yearly documentation and certification renewals.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Vermont State License to practice Medical Radiography.

Experience

Up to six months of experience is required to become proficient in the role.
