Xray Technician

About the role

The successful candidate will provide radiological services including fluoroscopy, mammography, and other diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a licensed physician.

Responsibilities

• Perform fluoroscopic procedures such as fluoroscopy, angiography, and venous access procedures
• Assist with mammography and other diagnostic imaging procedures
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Adhere to all regulatory and institutional guidelines
• Document procedures accurately and timely

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Current state license as an X-Ray Tech, Fluoroscopy Tech
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Experience with digital radiology equipment
• Proficiency in using medical imaging software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passing score on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) exam

Pay

$150 - $180 per hour based on experience and qualifications
