Xeikon Print Operator - 12 hour Nights

About the role
Perform data manipulation on the computer network, initiate jobs for production and laser printing on specific printer equipment, and stage printed jobs in the production area to ensure a smooth transition flow through production in order to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Facility Managers, Production Supervisors, and Leads to assist with customer directives, deliveries, changes, emergencies, and data-related issues by printing accurately and efficiently.
- Minimize waste and misuse of raw materials.
- Communicate with fellow associates, project coordinators, and Facility Managers while performing laser print functions by following daily job schedules.
- Manage multiple tasks on multiple printers simultaneously to support workflow, including running current customer laminations, printing re-runs, and starting new customer work based on the daily schedule.
- Use ERP system to log time and materials and follow department guidelines for Total Cost Management activities.
- Maintain an up-to-date and organized work order system, including records of jobs printed, tested, and checked via log book or computer documents.
- Ensure printing quality standards are met by sampling, viewing, and checking print jobs.
- Maintain equipment by placing service calls to appropriate technicians.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of pre-printed items in the warehouse and front shelving units.
- Ensure customer data arrives on time; alert supervisors if data is late for necessary notifications or decisions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; use required PPE and follow all safety rules and procedures.
- May be required to work overtime or on another shift as needed.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Comply with all Company policies, including safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Schedule
D Shift: Wednesday/Thursday 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM, Thursday–Saturday/Sunday 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Ability to embody and reflect core values.

- Stand 2/3 to full time on the shift daily.
- Use hands and fingers to handle and feel 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift daily.
- Reach with hands and arms 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift daily.

- Require close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
