About the role

Perform data manipulation on the computer network, initiate jobs for production and laser printing on specific printer equipment, and stage printed jobs in the production area to ensure a smooth transition flow through production in order to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Facility Managers, Production Supervisors, and Leads to assist with customer directives, deliveries, changes, emergencies, and data-related issues by printing accurately and efficiently.
  • Minimize waste and misuse of raw materials.
  • Communicate effectively with associates, project coordinators, and Facility Managers while following daily job schedules, ensuring familiarity with customer needs and production schedules.
  • Manage multiple tasks on multiple printers simultaneously to support workflow.
  • Use ERP system to log time and materials, and follow department guidelines for Total Cost Management activities.
  • Maintain an up-to-date and organized work order system, including records of jobs printed, tested, and checked via log book or computer documents.
  • Ensure printing quality standards are met by sampling, viewing, and checking print jobs.
  • Maintain equipment by placing service calls to appropriate technicians.
  • Monitor inventory levels and pre-printed items, ensuring proper storage and organization.
  • Ensure customer data arrives on time; alert supervisors if delays occur.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, use required PPE, and follow all safety rules and procedures.
  • May be required to work overtime or on another shift as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Schedule

D Shift: Wednesday/Thursday 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM, Thursday–Saturday/Sunday 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Ability to stand for 2/3 to the full duration of the shift daily.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle and feel (1/3 to 2/3 of the shift).
  • Regular reaching with hands and arms (1/3 to 2/3 of the shift).
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds (1/3 to 2/3 of the shift).
  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
  • Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).
