X-Ray Technologist

Precision Imaging Centers, Northeast Florida’s leader in outpatient imaging, is seeking a skilled and compassionate X-Ray Technologist to join our award-winning team at our Gate Parkway location in Jacksonville, FL. Schedule

• Full-time: Tuesday & Thursday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, and Saturday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• No on-call or overnight shifts
• All patients are ambulatory—no hospital or inpatient settings

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients, taking medical history and ensuring comfort throughout the exam
• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations using proper positioning and exposure techniques
• Perform DEXA bone density scans (training provided if needed)
• Ensure image quality meets radiologist requirements and patient safety standards
• Perform venipuncture when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the imaging area
• Collaborate with teammates and assist other departments as needed

Requirements

• Current Florida license as a Radiologic Technologist
• ARRT(R) certification
• BLS certification
• Venipuncture experience or willingness to learn
• Willingness to perform both X-ray and DEXA bone density examinations
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
