X-Ray Technician

About the role

Seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X‑Ray Technologists to perform diagnostic imaging, operate equipment, and assist with patient care. The role emphasizes patient care, technical proficiency, safety, and maintaining current licensure and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and communicating wait times.
• Obtaining medical histories and documenting patient information.
• Assisting with radiology procedures and provider‑led procedures.
• Ensuring patient safety through proper radiation shielding and equipment functionality.
• Performing quality control and adhering to clinical and regulatory standards.
• Supporting patient transfers and overall patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• TN State X‑Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is advantageous.

Skills

• Proficiency in diagnostic imaging practices and equipment operation.
• Strong patient communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and radiation protection.

Schedule

• Full‑time team members work rotating 12‑hour shifts, including every‑other weekend.
