X Ray Tech / Medical Assistant

Job Summary

InnovaCare Management Services Company, LLC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist and Medical Assistant who can perform routine radiographs and minimally invasive procedures under the direction of a physician or APP. The position requires independent judgment and ingenuity in applying ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. Cross-training and floating to meet facility needs are also expected.

MA / Xray Tech Duties

• Operate and adjust imaging equipment
• Explain procedures to patients
• Position patients and equipment
• Maintain exam rooms by stocking with necessary supplies
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions to supervisor or service provider
• Train to perform BAT and urine drug screen
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician
• Transmit prescription refills as directed
• Draw blood (training provided)
• Take electrocardiograms
• Remove sutures and change dressings
• Administer TB

Qualifications

• Current Florida State License
• Two years of experience required
