X-Ray Tech - Medical Assistant
Job Summary
Seeking a X-ray Technician / Medical Assistant with expertise in patient care. Ideal candidate should have 1+ year of clinical experience, EHR system experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Required certifications include a Radiological Technologist (RT) or Basic X-ray Machine Operator (BMXO) license, AAMA certification, and BLS certification.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful.
- Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completed an approved program (BOTP).
- Radiological Technologist (RT) or Basic X-ray Machine Operator (BMXO) license is required in state of residency.
- AAMA certification is preferred.
- BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start.
- Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
