X-Ray Tech / BMO - Tampa Urgent Care

Position Details

Location: Tampa, FL

Status: Full Time (non-exempt)

Twelve (12) hour shift: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday (or until the last patient leaves) with a two-days-on-two-days-off rotation, including every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance to providers during patient examinations, procedures, treatments, and x-ray/imaging services.
• Handles patient histories, performs routine lab procedures, prepares specimens for laboratory transport, follows up on test orders, and communicates results to providers and patients.
• Maintains and educates patients on provided materials, manages medical equipment, and orders clinical supplies.
• Creates and updates patient electronic medical records (EMR).
• Complies with all relevant regulatory agency guidelines.
• Supports both front and back-office operations.
• Performs other duties as directed.

Requirements

• BLS Certificate within 30 days of hire.
• Florida Basic Machine Operator (BMO) certification.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred technical medical assistant experience.
