BMO / X-Ray Tech - Float Team Urgent Care

Position Details

Location: Float, FL
Status: Pool (non-exempt)
Schedule: Twelve (12) hour shift 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday (or until the last patient leaves) with two days on, then two days off rotation.
This will include every other weekend (Weekend Differential may apply)
Float Team: This Pool position will require travel to satellite locations providing own transportation (submitted, approved mileage reimbursable) throughout Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough & Polk Counties.

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance to providers with patient examination, procedures, treatment, and x-ray/imaging services.
• Handles patient histories, performs routine lab procedures, prepares specimens for transport to the lab.
• Follows up on test orders and reports results to provider and patient, provides and maintains patient education materials, maintains medical equipment, and orders clinical supplies.
• Creates and maintains patient electronic medical record (EMR).
• Complies with all applicable regulatory agency regulations.
• Supports both front and back-office duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Required Certification or Licensure includes BLS Certificate and Florida Basic Machine Operator (BMO).
• Required Certification and Licensure: BLS (Basic Life Support) within 30 days of hire and Florida Basic Machine Operator (BMO).
• Required Education: Required High School or Equivalent; Preferred Technical Medical Assistant.
• Preferred Experience: Preferred 2 years Medical Assistant.

Pay

• $15.00 - $17.00 per hour based on experience and certification.
