X-Ray / BMO - Riverview Urgent Care

Position Details

Location: Riverview, FL
Status: Full Time (non-exempt)
Schedule: Twelve (12) hour shift 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday (or until the last patient leaves) with two days on, then two days off rotation. This will include every other weekend (Weekend Differential may apply)

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance to providers with patient examination, procedures, treatment, and x-ray/imaging services.
• Handles patient histories, performs routine lab procedures, prepares specimens for transport to the lab.
• Follows up on test orders and communicates results to provider and patient, provides and maintains patient education materials, maintains medical equipment, and orders clinical supplies.
• Creates and maintains patient electronic medical record (EMR).
• Complies with all applicable regulatory agency regulations.
• Supports both front and back-office duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Required Certification or Licensure includes BLS Certificate and Florida Basic Machine Operator (BMO).
• Required Certification and Licensure: BLS (Basic Life Support) within 30 days of hire and Florida Basic Machine Operator (BMO).
• Preferred Technical Medical Assistant Experience: 2 years.

Qualifications

• Required High School or Equivalent.

• Ability to work extended hours including evenings and weekends.
